Russian rowers are preparing for the Olympic season

On November 3, the rowers went to their first foreign training camp in Azerbaijan. This decision is due to the fact that at the moment in Russia there is no opportunity to hold such an event and properly prepare for the competition.

The main team for the new season has already been completed. The team is represented by 25 professional athletes - world and European champions, Olympic Games and youth tournament winners.

The FGSR noted that the qualifying stages of the 2024 Olympic Games started last September. At the end of April, the Russian team will compete in the qualifying round - at the European Qualifying Regatta in Szeged, Hungary.

Let us remind you that the Summer Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024 in Paris.

The Russian rowing team faces a difficult path to the pinnacle of glory. Hours of exhausting training, a healthy spirit of competition and a thirst for victory will lead to the desired results.

The International Olympic Committee daily shocks the entire sports world with its decisions and regulations. The ban on Russians competing in international competitions leaves a negative imprint on the history of world sporting events. Nevertheless, single and national athletes believe in a successful outcome and continue to improve their skills.
