Grand Palais in Paris

Description

Grand Palais is a majestic architectural structure in the Beaux Arts style, located on the right bank of the Seine in Paris. This palace, built in 1897, is a cultural and exhibition center on a global scale.

The Grand Palais was erected for the Universal Exhibition, which took place in 1900. Since then, it has become a symbol of the glory of French art and a venue for official cultural events in the capital.

Majestic copper quadriges, created by Georges Recipon, adorn the two entrances to the Grand Palais. On one side of the Champs Elysees - “Immortality, ahead of time”, on the other side of the Seine - “Harmony, triumphant over discord.”

The Grand Palais also includes an Art Gallery and the Museum of Discovery and Invention. Here you can enjoy unique collections of art and discoveries presented by great masters and scientists.

Visitors can order and issue tickets online, quickly and easily. The schedule and poster of events can be viewed on our website. The Grand Palais is a must-see for all art and culture lovers.
